1.
Construction:
-
Braided construction.
-
Parallel orientation of the braided
cover for maximum abrasion resistance.
- Core
and cover are balanced to allow the line
to run freely through blocks and
fairleads without kinks, rotations or
twists.
- 10mm &
12mm core and cover are constructed
separately using similar braiding
processes to ensure easy splicing.
2.
Characteristics & Advantages:
- Dinghy
Sheetline gives a secure grip on winches
and drums with minimum abrasion.
- The
outer braid provides a stable shape and
wide surface area that holds fast in
cleats.
- Highly
resistant to chemicals and ultra violet
light.
-
Resistant to kinking, hockling and
twisting.
- 10mm &
12mm spliceable.
- Colour
coded for easy identification and
appearance.
3.
Storage:
Dinghy Sheetline should be stored in a cool, well
ventilated dry store and
never in closed containers.
Dinghy Sheetline should be stacked on wooden grading or
racks, or special
pegs on stands. The cord should not be exposed to
weather or direct
sunlight.
Ensure Dinghy Sheetline is stored away from heavy
objects, which may fall
and damage the rope, chemicals or other liquids, which
may leak and
sources of sparks.
Dinghy Sheetline should not be stored under conditions
of high heat or
excessively drying atmospheres.
Dinghy Sheetline should never be dried in front of a
fire or store near a
stove or other source of heat. |
